Cardo Systems, Inc displayed the new scala-700 Bluetooth Headset at the CTIA Wireless 2006 recently. This minuscule Bluetooth headset weighs less than an ounce but according to Cardo is a powerhouse of a performer and is extremely feature rich. The scala 700 sports a highly stylized design and offers features like voice dial and re-dial, call waiting, conference calling, call reject, and wind and noise reduction.

The new scala-700 Bluetooth headset like its sibling the scala 750 also offers a number of advanced features. It is capable of multi pairing which lets customers switch the headset's connection among paired mobile phones at the touch of a button. Another feature which would be appreciated is the Location Buzzer which is capable of finding the headset if misplaced. Users have to press a button on their mobile phone and the buzzer incorporated in the headset will emit sounds till it is switched off.

The scala-700 wireless headset has been designed to deliver flawless sound and is capable of reducing wind and other background noise throughout the scala-700's 6-level volume range. Speaker booster and echo-cancellation technology has also been integrated in the headset to further enhance the sound quality. Other features include a , a battery status indicator light and has 240 hrs of stand-by time, 10 hours of talk time, and 2-3 hours recharge time.
