14234_MotImage.jpgMotorola Inc and Skype today showcased the Motorola Talk & Tunes Wireless Internet Calling Kit with stereo, which has been jointly developed by them. This is a path breaking step in Bluetooth technology as it lets Skype users manage calls over the Internet and listen to music, all at the same time. Thus adding a fun element to internet telephony as users now can listen to their favourite music via the PC without missing those important calls.

The Motorola Talk & Tunes Kit has been certified by Skype and it promises to work seamlessly with Skype’s free unlimited Internet calling software. Skype is always pushing the envelope when it comes to new and innovative technology and looks like the Talk and Tune kit is a step towards the right direction. The Kit contains a Motorola Bluetooth® Stereo Headphones Motorola HT820 for precise audio streaming and a Motorola Bluetooth PC Adapter Motorola PC850.Both devices work inconjunction with each other and are able to connect to the PC wirelessly. The headset is capable of automatically pausing the music when a call comes, and thus alerting the user of the incoming call.

The Motorola Talk & Tunes Kit adapter makes it possible for the user to roam up to 30 feet away from their computer without forsaking control thanks to the one touch button on the headset. The Kit also includes Skype software which offers free unlimited Internet calling to other Skype users. The Motorola Talk & Tunes Wireless Internet Calling Kit with stereo would be available by first half of 2006, however no word on pricing yet. It is on display CTIA Wireless 2006 in Las Vegas, so if you’re in the neighborhood, drop in. However for those who can’t make it, you can always visit.www.hellomoto.com.
