imate-spl-1.jpgNo that is not the Motorola SLVR in a new avatar. But we forgive you for this blunder as the new I-Mate SPL bears an uncanny resemblance to the Moto family. Intentional or accidental we don’t know. But we do know its specs, so here it goes:

The I-Mate SPL is a slim smart phone (yes they do exist) and runs on the Windows Mobile 5.0 Operating System. It’s perfect for those who want Smartphone functionality without carrying paperweight equivalent handsets! This tri-band GSM handset is outfitted with a 2.2" 65k color display and has the all important Bluetooth. Other features include; 128MB ROM, 64MB RAM and a miniSD memory card slot. No word on pricing or availability.
