T-Mobile has confirmed the launch date for the SDA II Smartphone and it isn't now unfortunately. The phone is now slated to make its appearance in the German market at around the Christmas timeframe. The SDA II has repeatedly been delayed over the last year and even the rumored SDA II Music phone was cancelled before it made it to the stores.

T-Mobile took the time to also confirm the upcoming MDA Vario communicator phone which will also launch alongside the new SDA II. T-Mobile did not mention any information on the specifications of the SDA II but it does not appear the phone will be very much different from the T-Mobile SDA phone. The SDA is a candy bar style Windows based smartphone with tr-band GSM support. The SDA II is expected to have a large screen (QVGA resolutions) and a larger amount of memory. www.t-mobile.com.
