Symbol Technologies announced its new WT4000 Wearable Terminal aimed at improving efficiency and accuracy in warehouse and package handling functions. Because the WT4000 can be worn on the wrist, it can help in improving worker productivity while saving time and costs.

The WT4000 features a wide scanning range for a variety of applications, and supports voice-only, text-only or a combination of voice and text application support. Thanks to the integrated 802.11 a/b/g wireless LAN connectivity, no time is lost in accessing required data and meet your customer's expectations.

Needless to say, the design is rugged and geared for challenging environments, while the ergonomics on the WT4000 are enough to allow for all-day wearing. It is powered by Windows CE 5.0, and features a 320x240 pixel resolution TFT LCD.
