Sunlike GPS01
Yearning for some more GPS love? Then check out the GPS01 from Sunlike (H.K) International Electronic Limited (who?). This one ain’t in the same league as a Garmin, however it does get the job done! It comes to us from the land of China and promises both fun and functionality.
The GPS01 is equipped with a 4" TFT internal LCD screen and comes bundled with a remote. Design wise it takes cue from a handheld computer to make operation simpler. The device is capable of giving turn-by-turn instructions and accurate point-to-point cross-region navigation. Some bonus features include calculator, calendar, alarm clock etc.
The new GPS device also has full multi-media capabilities, to make those long trips interesting. Thus one comes across support to MP3, WMA, WMV, AVI, ASF and a pair of in built speakers too.
