Sprint Nextel launched their second phone in a day, the Samsung A640. It is a clamshell phone with all black front cover when the phone is turned off. It boasts a TFT LCD color screen with resolutions of 128 x 160 pixels with external OLED screen with resolutions of 80 x 64, VGA camera, speakerphone capability for conferencing, Bluetooth connectivity and Push-to-talk function. It weighs only 3.2 ounces. That's a light-weight category clamshell phone. Sprint is selling the Samsung A640 for free after USD199 in instant savings.
