logo_Business Wire Logojpg.jpegSprint is all geared up to unleash a whole gamut of Blackberry related devices. The company has expanded its portfolio by adding the BlackBerry 7130e handset, the BlackBerry Smart Card Reader and will even now provide broadband capabilities to the BlackBerry 7250. Lets see now what all they have to offer.

The BlackBerry 7130e will operate on the Sprint Power Vision Network and will take the handset functionality to the next level by providing broadband-like speeds which start from 400 kbsp and can touch a mind boggling 2Mbps. The 7130e is an one stop solution to all communication needs and includes features like Bluetooth(R) Wireless technology, speakerphone, high-resolution color display and SureType(TM) keyboard technology. The handset unlike other Smartphone’s is not bulky and is housed in a sleek and stylish frame. It includes BlackBerry "Push" Technology and can also moonlight as a modem for high speed internet access. The phone includes a speakerphone and has 64MB of flash memory and 16 Mb SRAM.

Sprint has given one more reason to opt for the popular BlackBerry 7250 as now Sprint will provide its exclusive Sprint Mobile Broadband service to the handset. This handset was first launched in 2005 by Sprint and has an impressive set of features including EV-DO, Bluetooth(R) Wireless technology, backlit QWERTY keyboard and thumb-operated trackwheel navigation. This handset can also be used as a modem to connect to the internet anywhere anytime.

If you thought this was enough, well there is more. Sprint has started shipping the BlackBerry Smart Card Reader which lets one access to a BlackBerry device enabled with Bluetooth(R) Wireless technology and provides enhanced security. This device is compatible with a host of smart cards which are used by high security organizations like government agencies. The card operates on Sprint Nationwide PCS Network (CDMA) and Nextel National Network (iDEN).
