Sotec e-three HS310 Notebook
Sotec Japan announces their new high mobility notebook, the e-three HS310 notebook which boasts a 12.1-inch XGA TFT LCD with the supported highest resolutions of 1024 x 768, 256MB RAM, 40GB of hard disk capacity and Intel 915GM Express chipset. It has few range of processor for you to choose: Intel Pentium M 770 (2.13GHz), Pentium 735 (1.70GHz) and Celeron M 380 (.160GHz). The bad thing about this notebook is it can only support up to 1GB of RAM memory which i think is not enough when i’m doing heavy design and graphic. On the connectivity side, it has 3 USB 2.0 port, IEEE 1394 (Firewire), Gigabit Ethernet LAN, PC card slot, mini D-Sub 15 pin connection and IEEE802.11b/g wireless connection. It does have a SD, MMC and Memory Stick (PRO) card reader as well as S/PDIF. The battery life of the notebook depends on the type of processor you choose. Pentium M will last for 4.5 hours upon fully charged while Celeron M will only last for 3.3 hours. The whole system runs on Windows XP Home Edition. Sotec e-three HS310 weights approximately 1.58kg with the size of 274 x 231.65 x 33.5mm. A Celeron powered HS310 will cost you 119,800Yen which is about USD1038. No words on the Intel powered HS310.
