T7-block-image.jpgThe prestigious iF design awards were held on 9th March at the CeBIT 2006 and Sony emerged as a star as it walked away with 14 design awards. Out of the fourteen two were for the Cyber-shot T7 and the WALKMAN A Series (NW-A3000 and NW-A1000). The iF design exhibition is celebrated for showcasing diverse and novel products and this time there were 2000 products submitted by almost 37 countries.

The Sony Cyber-shot T7 was awarded the prestigious iF gold award for its card type design and high performing capabilities. It sports a chic design without compromising on the performance or image quality. "The T7 camera is the size of a credit card, and yet it is neither too slim nor too small to hold comfortably in your hands,” remarked judge Ehlén Johansson from MEJK Design in Malmö.

Another awardee of the iF gold award was Sony’s WALKMAN A Series which takes the whole MP3 concept to a new level and is extremely user-friendly and compact.According to judge Dick Powell"this MP3 player is the successful new interpretation of the Sony WALKMAN at highest level of design." All awarded products are on display at CeBIT 2006 from 9 March until it's end.
