sony-tx.jpgThe Sony VAIO series are the ultimate machines when it comes to style and panache. Now be ready to drool some more as Sony is all geared up to release the Sony VAIO TX3-Series which promises to be the perfect amalgamation of looks, functionality and some great hardware security. While there is no dearth of stylish notebooks, the new VAIO series promises to be different. Sony has incorporated all the latest technologies out there including an Intel® Core™ Solo Ultra-Low Voltage (ULV) processor and a battery which promises a back of 7 hours!

The Sony VAIO TX3- Series has a myriad of features to offer consumers. This ultra-portable series of notebooks include a fully integrated DVD±RW optical drive with double layer (DL) technology for massive capacity as a bonus. The series offers one some great security options which will go down very well with all the future James Bonds. Some of the security features include fingerprint recognition1 and hardwired chip-level Trusted™ Platform Module (TPM) security. Still doubtful? Well the onboard hard disk is also protected by G-Sensor Shock Protection which senses motion automatically and protects the drives when the notebook is dropped.

Heavy notebooks are so passé and looks like Sony is aware of it. The TX3 series weighs just about 1.4 Kgs but Sony assures that there is nothing fragile about it. In fact the casing is made of the same material which is also used in the aerospace industry and the world of Formula One (that ought to convince you!).This one too sports the Sony trademark X-black LCD which enhances the overall brightness and contrast! The notebooks would sport an 11 inch LCD which would be joust 4.5mm thick. These are the mains specs but one can always configure the notebooks according to ones need and more important ones budget. No word on pricing or availability but for info head over to Sony.

"The TX3-Series is exceptional," says Jun Koyama, Marketing Director of VAIO of Europe. "The level of engineering behind it puts it in a class of its own, which is instantly obvious when you first see, let alone use one. Heavyweight security makes this versatile and utterly distinctive machine perfect for the business user who is uninterested in the ordinary."
