1158155174048.jpg1158155174056.jpgComputer company Sony, that needs no introduction, recently unveiled a new range of VAIO notebook computers. Fall in; the N10 entry level series. Design that never fails with a VIAO name- the N10s will also carry “affordable practicality”.

Considered the entry level of the Sony series, the new additions will come equipped with everything for the practical general user, while retaining the sleek classic outlook VIAO has worked to become recognized for. The N10 series is “strong on core features but does not compromise on design or quality,” explains director of IT for VIAO.

The N10 series will also remain portable while featuring a generous 15.4-inch widescreen operating at a 1280 x 800 resolution. An ergonomic keyboard for typing cramps no more, and a X-black LCD screen; to dramatically boost the range of contrast.

The N10, in following of Sony’s high standards, ensures that the hard disk ranges from 80GB to 100GB, features 1GB or 512MB of memory, holds Intel Core Duo processors- with graphics performance coming in full courtesy of the Intel 945 GM motherboard chipset.

Included in all models is a double layer DVD±RW drive which allows for archiving of information of up to 8.5GB per double layer disk. Very useful insurance, or great tool for sharing unlimited amounts of information.

And no laptop would be complete without a high-speed 802.11a/b/g wireless networking card, as well as an Ethernet option, so connectivity is limitless. Also handy are slots for memory expansion like SD (Secure Digital) and Memory Stick, for use with mobile digital devices like cameras.

No pricing information is available at this time, but this claims to be the affordable series for the everyday user. Think decently priced. Ill finally be able to hold a VIAO without breaking the bank.
