Butterfingers? Dropped your phone more than once in the pool or (worse) the toilet? Fear not, for Sony Ericsson has heard you. And that's why they have made a water-proof phone especially for you. We bring you the Sony Ericsson SO901iwp (the "wp" being water-proof).

Hang on, don't throw out your underwater camera apparatus yet - the SO902iwp has a dismal 1.3 megapixel camera. Apparently the phone can stay up to 30 minutes under water, at a maximum depth of one meter. Sony Ericsson has put up a nice flash site (in Japanese) detailing the phone.

You gotta give credit for these guys. They just made a lot of people's lives easier - now they don't have to spend like crazy on a second phone. No idea on the pricing or when it will be hitting the markets. Stay tuned for The Whack in the upcoming days.
