Sony PlayStation 3 Out In November 2006Stop the press! In a major breaking news story, Sony have just announced that the long, the really long-awaited Sony PlayStation 3 will finally see the light of day in early November this year, with a worldwide launch in Japan, North America and Europe.

Honestly, that's a bit too late. Not surprisingly, PS3 will sport Blu-ray Disc for very high levels of image quality, be it games or movies, thanks to its 50GB (dual layer) storage capacity. Aside from that, it boasts compatibility with standard TVs up to the latest high-definition TVs.

Gamers can also look forward to Gigabit Ethernet support for high-speed access. Access http://www.us.playstation.com/ for additional details.

November 2006? I'll say it just one more time: too late.
