In the quest for it, Sony Ericsson, today expanded its growing line-up of Walkman phones with the new clamshell of a phone, Sony Ericsson W300. It is a Quad band Edge (850/900/1800/1900MHz) walkman mobile phone, which is the result of Sony's promise to bring to bring Walkman branded handsets to the low- and mid-range. It offers the same walkman music quality as some of the higher-end models and not to mention the compact and eye catching design.

The new Sony Ericsson W300 supports MP3 and AAC playback and offers a great sound experience with up to 30 hours of music listening. It has an FM radio with RDS and user experience is enhanced by direct music keys as well as the shuffle function. Also another striking thing about the ohone is that, it features a new "flight mode" which basically allows users listen to their favorite tracks on airplanes. Now that is a great thing to have in a mobile phone. Apart from that the phone features a VGA camera with 4x digital zoom, with which users can take and view pictures or record videos. It comes with a removable 256MB Memory Stick Micro card expandable to 1GB and also the phone's 262K TFT color screen makes it perfect for taking fun snapshot and enjoying them on the screen.

On the connectivity side, there is bluettoth USB 2.0 through Fast port, Infrared and is equipped with EDGE Class 10 to allow quick and easy data transfers and Internet access.
