Portables speakers are everywhere, but there very few just for mobile phones that deliver flawless sound and offer a room filling sound. The latest speaker to do the rounds is the Sony Ericsson MP001 Mobile Phone Speaker, it promises to be ‘loud’ and produce high quality sound. The MP001 is mostly targeted at the Sony Walkman Phone users and features the 32 bit Sony S-Master technology and has a room-filling 25W (RMS) of music power.

The Sony MP001 sports a cradle mount for convenient fitting of the mobile device and comes in a sleek and compact package. As mentioned earlier it features the 32 bit Sony S-Master technology which is found in all audio video Sony products and results in rich vibrant audio. The unit contains a set of speakers and hide-away sub-woofer which delivers the goods. The MP001 unlike most speakers just doesn’t act as a set of speakers. It also has FM capabilities.

The FM Phone tuner is activated as soon as the phone gets into the cradle and one can enjoy a home stereo FM radio. The MP001 also has charging capabilities freeing the user from the hassles of charging the phone all the time. Good news for the couch potatoes, Sony has thrown in a remote to which can be used for volume, bass and treble control. The Sony Ericsson MP001 is only compatible with Sony Ericsson Mobiles with Fast Port and no word on pricing or availability yet.
