Sony DVP-FX810 DVD Player
The Sony DVP-FX810, a new portable DVD walkman by Sony is perfect solution for this ultra hip generation who like their entertainment on the go! The DVP-FX810 is a result of Sony brainstorming and amalgamating their PMP line with its Walkman series. The new portable DVD player unlike the competition (by that we mean cheap Chinese players) has a very unique swivel design which means that the 8 inch high resolution screen can be twisted around up to 180 degrees for better and easy viewing. This baby can be viewed in the car too and though your ride maybe bumpy your visual experience wouldn’t thanks to the anti-shock technology.
The Sony DVP-FX810 for smooth performance incorporates a very durable clamshell base which gives supports the 8 inch wide screen LCD. Sony promises that the user will be blown away with the ultra sharp display which also has bee coated with an anti-scratch layer for utmost protection. At the core of the player lie a high performing and yielding 12-bit 108MHz video DAC which translates in to superlative performance and display. Sony has also thrown in a remote control so all the couch potatoes have one more reason to buy this portable DVD. The battery can juice up the player for about 6 hours but if you can also use a car adaptor or an ac adapter.
The new Sony DVP-FX810 supports formats like DVD±R/RW, DVD+R/-RW DL, CD-R/RW, MP3 and JPEG files. There is built in Dolby Digital Decoder and 2 channel Virtual Stereo output and the unit measures 226 x 160 x 32.4mm approximately. No word on pricing or availability yet.
