img_002.jpgThe new Sony Cybershot DSC-N2 is an upgrade to the DSC-N1 (ah the power of observation) and this one shall in all likely hood carve its own niche thanks to its whopping 10 MP Resolution . However remember it’s not all about the Mega pixels and Sony too realizes that. Thus the company has taken care to incorporate a number of nifty features which will not only make photography better but will also make it more fun!

The Sony Cybershot DSC-N2 apart from a 10 MP Resolution also includes; an extending Carl Zeiss(R) Vario Tessar(R) 3x optical zoom lens and a 3 inch touch-screen display with Sony's Clear Photo Plus LCD technology for higher resolution (230K). Sony raises the bar when it comes to sensitivity as this Point and Shoot Camera has a maximum ISO of 1600.

With long zoom comes the responsibility of combating blurry images and thus the Sony Cybershot DSC-N2 includes the Sony “Real Imaging Processor”. The digicam also has this innovative feature called dynamic range enlargement” function which kicks in when photographing under the direct sunlight and ensures that the image maintain proper contrast and brightness. The camera also includes a Touch Screen Interface and via the Paint Pen one can include graffiti or drawings in their pictures!

The DSC-N2 also moonlights as a photo album and through the built-in photo album function, one can store up to 500 of their favorite images and view them as slideshows with music. When it comes to ergonomics, the N2 will appeal to everyone thanks to its chic and understated design and its champagne gold color. Other features found on the Sony Cybershot DSC-N2 include; 25 MB of internal memory, ability to resize images automatically, a Movie mode and software’s like Picture Motion Browser Ver.1.1 + Picture Package Music Transfer. The new DSC-N2 will be available by October and would retail for $450. For more info check out Sony
