sony2_typebx96.jpgLove it or hate it but you gotta admit the Sony notebooks makes for some great eye candy. The VAIO series BX series have got a new member, the BX96PS. Which keeps up the Sony tradition of being extremely sleek and also of being overpriced.

Prices would vary according to configurations and one particular configuration reads like this; an Intel Core 2 Duo T7400 (2.16-GHz) Processor, 512 MB RAM, an ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 chipset, HD of 60GB and a 14.1-inch SXGA+ (1,400 x 1,050) display. When it comes to connectivity Sony has given us options like three USB 2.0 ports, a FireWire port, 802.11 a/b/g Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. For security there is a biometric fingerprint reader. For now the new notebook would only be available for our Japanese cousins from September onwards. Prices start at $1,366.
