Solid Alliance unveiled MP3 players with a difference: the fruit fragrance iCool MP3 player. You get the iCool in a choice of three flavor combinations: chocolate/rose, strawberry/lemon and cherry/blueberry. All you need to do to change the fragrance is change the casing of the player with the appropriate flavor.

Smelly MP3 players have been available for a while thanks to Audiotronic of China. They even had one with marijuana flavor, but apparently the iCool does not include this in its portfolio. It comes integrated with 256MB of memory, with SD/MMC slots for expansion.

The iCool provides a USB 2.0 interface to transfer files from your desktop, and can play MP3 and WMA files. It also comes with an FM tuner and voice recording facility, and you can view the ID3/tag information on the tiny LCD display.

Available in Japan right now, you can purchase the iCool MP3 Player for around US $60 at Solid Alliance's online store.

Our advice? Should you feel hungry, don't keep this near you - who knows, you might end up eating it!
