Slim Devices unveiled the Squeezebox Network Music Player, a stylishly designed player that can access your digital music albums from any room in your house as well as several radio stations over the net. Featuring a hi-fi 24-bit Burr-Brown DAC, the Squeezebox churns out high quality audio with low levels of distortion.
The Squeezebox supports a slew of audio formats, including MP3, WMA, FLAC, AAC, WAV and Ogg. Bundled with free open source software called SlimServer, the Squeezebox is very easy to setup and features a convenient interface to search your music collection.
Coupled with an aqua display that reeks of readability and brightness, the Squeezebox looks like a definitive addition to any audiophile. It is available in both wired (Ethernet) and wireless versions (802.11 b/g). You can connect the output of the Squeezebox to a home entertainment system for a complete experience.
