SIRIUS Satellite Radio has introduced a number of plug and play radios and the Starmate 4 is one of them. The Starmate 4 can be hooked with a number of devices including a universal home dock, car dock and boombox, thus making it truly portable.

The Starmate 4 sports an extremely well thought out design and is one of those ultra slim devices, that can be taken anywhere .Thanks to its compact form factor, the radio can be fitted securely even in smaller vehicles and via the large wide-screen display, one can view longer artist names and song titles with up to five lines of text. The radio is capable of replays up to 44 minutes ands has vital functions like pause, rewind and fast-forward. The radio comes bundled with receiver, vehicle power adapter, remote, vehicle antenna, vehicle dock, and vehicle mounts.

The Starmate 4 sports a 100 channel FM transmitter allowing SIRIUS to be heard through any FM radio and has access to a number of added services like SIRIUS GameZone, SIRIUS Game Alert and One-touch Jump feature which jumps from traffic updates to any SIRIUS music, sports or talk channel with the touch of a button. The Starmate4 should be available by October and would retail for $119.99.
