Sigma Corporation, has launched the new APO 50-150mm F2.8 EX DC HSM Lens which has been designed for all the current crop of digital SLR cameras. The new large aperture telephoto zoom lens is compact enough to be carried around and has a focal length of 50-150mm. The lens for unrivaled performance has been made up of Four SLD (Special Low Dispersion) glass elements which come in handy correcting chromatic aberrations.

The lens measures 76.3mm (3.0") in diameter,132.6mm (5.2") in length and weighs about 780g (27.5oz) (Nikon Mount). Thanks to the onboard HSM (Hyper Sonic Motor) system, one is assured of silent free and high-speed auto focusing with full time manual focus override.
