Sierra Wireless today launched the Air Card 860 a 3G wireless wide area network (WWAN) Type II PC card made for use in conjunction with Cingular's HSDPA (High Speed Downlink Packet Access) networks. In areas where there is no HSDPA network present the card will also work on Cingular's EDGE network.
