Sharp, today made an announcement that its new CDMA phone, W41SH, will now be available to KDDI customers in Japan. The phone sports a stunning flip design and is available in as many as 4 different shades, precious white, noble black, red and in pink colours. Sharp engineers claim that they've incorporated the same technology as used in their Aquos line of LCD TVs and the front sub-display is indicative of that.
The Sharp W41SH, as mentioned earlier is a CDMA featuring dual colour display, one on the front panel and the other inside. The internal display is a large 2.6 inch QVGA LCD with 262,144 colour display and the outer screen is a 1.2 inch LCD, derived from the Aquos LCD TVs, which can show homepage, time, date, tune name and as well as the caller name, ensuring the customers that they don't have to flip the phone every now and then. Furthermore users can also make use of the side keys that are provided to send small messages and view the same with the sub-display.
On the multimedia front, the phone gets a 2 MegaPixel camera which can capture photos of resolutions upto 1600X1200. It includes an MP3 player as well and users can purchase MP3 songs from the LISMO music store. The USB 2.0 ensures easy transfer of your music files and data.
