When we first featured the Sharp WX-T91 last September, details were scant but we knew it was promising.
Just recently Sharp and telecommunications company Fareastone launched this much anticipated 3G phone in Taiwan. Built to work on WCDMA and 3G networks this attractive clamshell is packed with lots of cool multimedia features.
The WX-T91 takes advantage of Fareastone's Video on Demand and Video Push services via 3G. It features a 3.2 megapixel camera, support for Bluetooth, USB, Infrared, a MiniSD card slot (supports up to 1GB), a MP3/AAC music player, and a bar code scanner.
Its 2.4-inch, 262K QVGA (320x240) screen can be viewed from almost any angle. using Sharp AQUOS Advanced Super View technology. It also supports Video/TV-Out enabling users to view their pictures and play games on their TV screens.
The WX-T91 comes in three colors; black, red and white and retails for about $774. It remains to be seen if this phone will be available outside Taiwan, but we've got our fingers crossed, we think it is really cool. Via Sogi.
