Sea and Sea DX-D80 Underwater Housing for the Nikon D80A Japan-based underwater imaging company, aptly named Sea&Sea, unveiled the new DX-D80, a housing for the Nikon D80 digital SLR camera that allows for unleashing your underwater fantasies.

The shutter lever features a leak sensor, and the compact housing of the new model makes it easy to hold the camera underwater. Made of aluminum alloy, the front case is corrosion-resistant. The rear case is made of polycarbonate, while the grip is aluminum die-cast.

The housing alone weighs in at 2.7 kilograms. Priced at JPY 220,000 (approx. US $1,850), the Sea&Sea DX-D80 underwater case is out in the wild. It looks pretty cool.
