Samsung Electronics have announced the SCH-a930 today will be on Verizon Wireless. The SCH-a930 is a full fledged music phone which offers features like V CAST Music, two stereo speakers, removable memory and dedicated music playback keys. For the uninitiated V Cast Music service lets one browse, preview, download and play high-quality digital music from one’s handsets on Verizon Wireless' broadband network. Thus the V Cast store is a little haven for music lovers all over and via this particular handset one can also view video clips.

The SCH-a930 is a music phone in true sense and not a charlatan like the other so called “music phones”.One can store as many songs as one desires via the microSD(TM) memory card and the dedicated external music keys allows full access to functions like play, fast-forward, rewind and pause. The phone also has a set of speakers which means that you can share your music too. It sports the now mandatory 1.3 megapixel digital camera and camcorder too and it also supports Bluetooth(R) profiles for headsets, dial-up networking, serial ports and other hands-free accessories. The SCH-a930 has two screens one external (4 grey, OLED, 176x16 pixel) and one internal (262K-color, TFT, 176x220 pixel).

The SCHa930 apart from its music capabilities has a decent set of specs. It is Mobile Web 2.0(SM)-capable and is able to play VibeTonz(R)-enhanced Ringtones. If you’re getting bored there are a number of 3D games to keep you occupied and is also Get It Now capable which means you can download multimedia content anywhere, anytime.
