Sansa Base Station Transforms SanDisk MP3 Players Into JukeboxesAfter the huge success of their portable media players, SanDisk is becoming more active in the digital jukebox market. The new Sansa Base Station from SanDisk transforms your SanDisk MP3 player into a virtual jukebox and listen to music through your home stereo system's powerful speakers.

The Base Station is handy for docking and charging your MP3 player, as well as copying media from your PC. It supports the e200 series of SanDisk MP3 players, as well as the newer c200 series. A compact IR remote control is provided to operate the player; standard controls include Play/Pause, FW/Next, RW/Previous, Volume Up, Volume Down and On/Off.

The SanDisk Base Station is bundled with a USB 2.0 cable, RCA audio cable, mechanical adapters for SanDisk players and remote control with batteries.

The SanDisk is being showcased at the IFA in Berlin, between September 1-6, 2006. Priced at US $69.99, it will hit the stores in October across the USA and Europe.
