Sandisk Sansa m200 The iPod nano isn't the only 4GB flash player around anymore. SanDisk is introducing the Sansa m200 series of flash-based MP3 players with Microsoft PlayForSure Subscripton support. The new m200 works with a variety of music formats including MP3, WMA, and WMA DMA. Thus you can easily use the m200 to play back music files that you purchased through music subscription services such as Rhapsody.

The players come in storage capacities ranging from 512MB to 4GB in size. The 4GB model is actually cheaper than the comparable 4GB iPod nano device. The m200 also comes with a digitam FM tuner, and voice recording capabilities. If all you care about is storage capacities, then the m200 4GB player has the nano beat.

The m200 includes the following features:

  • Microsoft PlaysForSure support to ensure proper playback of digital music
  • Up to 4GB of flash storage capacity
  • Digital FM radio with 20-presets
  • Voice recorder with built-in microphone
  • Hi-Speed USB 2.0 interface and cable for fast music transfers
  • Support for MP3, WMA (both protected/DRM and unprotected) and Audible audio file formats
  • Easy to read LCD that displays album, artist and song title information
