1gb=rapid.gifSanDisk® Corporation has launched a high performing Memory Stick PRO Duo™ Game card which is a one stop solution to multimedia and gaming tasks like capturing and storing movies, TV shows, games, digital images and music to the Sony PSP™ (PlayStation® Portable). The new RapidGX is just what the doctor ordered and will no doubt be lapped up by the PSP loving population. The SanDisk RapidGX card at first will be sold in a single capacity of 1 gigabyte and SanDisk later on will increase the capacity.

The SanDisk RapidGX card is pretty handy and would come preloaded with software which makes tasks like converting and transferring files from a PSP to a PC or vice versa a breeze. It also includes the patented MicroMateâ„¢ high-speed Memory Stick PRO Duo card reader for greater transfer speeds. One can transfer data at read/write speeds of up to 15 megabytes (MB) per second thanks to the Micro Reader and the reader comes with an onboard slot to plug in the card. The onboard software makes life easier for the user has it has a highly simple and intuitive user interface.
