Samsung Z710 Camera PhoneUmmm...the new Samsung Z710 camera cell phone should become a favorite with mobile photography enthusiasts. It's got a 3.2 megapixel camera built into it. Now that's some serious pixel power especially for a device that's just 20mm thick and weighs all of 107 grams. You can keep clicking photos till your thumbs become sore, but I am sure you will not be able to fill up the massive 128MB of Z710's onboard memory. To me, it seems like a new strategy from Samsung.

The Samsung Z710 is a dual-display tri-band GSM phone (with support for UMTS). The internal screen is a 2.15-inch 240 x 320 262K color display and the external screen is a 96 x 96 65K color 1.1-inch display. Somehow, I like my internal displays to be a whole lot bigger especially on a phone that hopes to sell on it's camera features. I am happy with the 262K color display though. To keep you entertained, the Samsung Z710 has a built in FM receiver and it can play most of the popular music formats. You can extend the 710's memory capacity with a microSD card. Other connectivity options include Bluetooth and USB. E-mail over POP3/SMTP/IMAP4 is supported. The Li-ion 820 mAh battery is rated at 180 hours on standby and 3 hours on continuous talk.

Pricing and availability has not yet been made clear. Watch this space for updates.
