Samsung YP-Z5 MP3 PlayerSamsung's new YP-Z5 MP3 player will be out soon, and it looks like the P-Z5 is all set for a face-off with the iPod Nano. Apparently, Paul Mercer of Apple iPod fame was involved in the YP-Z5.

The Samsung YPZ5 has sleek looks, but the USP of the device should be its array of software that mimic popular desktop applications, all thanks to Mr.Mercer. Equipped with a 1.8" color screen, Samsung claims a huge 35-hour battery life on the player.

Only time will tell if the Samsung YP-Z5 can take on the mighty iPod Nano. For now, Samsung has set a launch date of March 5 for the device, with an expected price tag between US $199 to $249, which seems decent.
