Samsung YP-T8N Digital Audio Player
Samsung Korea's new Samsung YP-T8N is more than just a digital audio player. While it can playback MP3, ASF, WMA, and OGG music files, it can also display JPEG pictures and play MPEG4 videos. I don't know why Samsung calls it just a "Digital Audio Player."
The T8N comes in three sizes: 1GB, 2GB, and 4GB. It looks like a cellphone on first glance. At 43.5 X 83 X 15.5mm and 55g it's a compact device. A 3.7V Li-ion battery powers the unit and it's 1.8" TFT LCD. The built-in FM tuner should keep you entertained when you get tired listening to your MP3 collection. Like the YP-T55, the T8N also supports Samsung's DNSe (Digital Natural Surround engine) technology.
The Samsung YP-T8N 1GB model is priced at 249,000 Won (~ US$254) and the 2GB model at 289,000 Won (~ US$295). The 4GB model will be priced in the 320,000+ (~ US$327) Won range.
