Samsung’s introduces the Samsung YP-T8 MP3 Player, a flash-based portable media player supporting MPEG Movies in addition to Digital Audio files.
Global innovation leader Samsung continues to expand the possibilities of portable entertainment with the newest addition to its award-winning digital audio family, the Samsung YP-T8 Compact Flash-Based Music & Movie Player. The Samsung YP-T8 breaks new ground in the portable digital audio space as the company's smallest flash-based player to offer MPEG playback.

Weighing in at just under 2 ounces, the 3.3" x 1.7" x 0.6" Samsung YP-T8 offers consumers an impressive range of additional features in a sleek, compact package. An FM tuner and recorder, along with voice recording capability place the YP-T8 among the most versatile players in the market. A built-in Li-Ion battery provides up to 20 hours of entertainment. SRS WOW® provides a superb 3D audio experience and Microsoft Plays for Sure ä technology gives users the security that their favorite MP3 and WMA files will play with ease.
The Samsung YP-T8 Compact Flash-Based Music & Movie Player is available in 512MB, 1GB, and 2GB memory capacities and comes with a necklace, carrying case, ear buds and USB adapter.
The YP-T8 will be available in August 2005 at MSRPs of $199.99, $249.99 and $299.99 depending on the unit's storage capacity.
