Samsung Korea recently unveiled its first commercially available HSDPA phone, the Samsung W200.The new phone by Samsung features the path-breaking high-speed downlink packet access (HSDPA) technology where users can download multimedia content at whopping 1.8Mbps.It features a slider design and includes all the next generation hi-tech features like a ‘Dual Band Dual Mode (DBDM)' chip that supports 2G, 3G and 3.5G and one ca indulge in video telephony, mp3 playback and other multimedia activities.

The new phone also features the Satellite Digital Multimedia Broadcasting (S-DMB) chipset which also lets one watch TV on the mobile. The phone includes a 2 mega pixel camera and other features include MP3 player function, text-to-speech (TTS) conversion, file viewer and external memory (microSD) slot.
