x820.jpgI myself had to do a double check before confirming that this phone is from Samsung. Yeah! it is a Samsung phone. For a change Samsung creative heads have come up with a phone which is not a clamshell. Samsung today announced its slimmest phone in the all new SPH-V9900.

The x820 adds to the ULTRA slim section of Samsung in the communicAsia 2006 booth. The SPH-V9900 is mind boggingly slim with thickness of just 6.9mm. The phone boasts of a monoblock design. It is a tri-band GSM phone with EDGE (class 10) and GPRS capabilities. Measuring 113 x 50 x 6.9 mm, the phone includes a 2MegaPixel camera and is also powered by a 256K TFT display. The phone comes with a whopping 80MB of internal memory and also include music and media player. It also supports MP3/AAC/AAC+/WMA playback.
