Samsung Unveils Digimax/Kenox S500 Digital Camera
Check out what's up Samsung's sleeve: the new Digimax/Kenox S500, a 5-megapixel digital camera. Sporting 3x optical zoom and a 2.4" preview LCD screen, one of the features is the Auto-Macro mode, where you can take close-up pics even if you've not remembered to select the appropriate mode on the camera.
You can also capture videos (with sound!) at VGA (640 x 480 pixels) resolution at a maximum of 30 fps. The S500 offers PictBridge compatibility for PC-free printing and USB 2.0 for high-speed transfers between the camera and your desktop.
Capable of running on just 2 AA batteries, the cam is pretty compact at 96.8 x 61.8 x 32.8 mm. Check out more specifications in the extended entry.
