Samsung is all ready to take on its rivals, with its new dual-hinged design clamshell phone! Images of the new Samsung SCH-U710 has surfaced on the net and let’s see what this innovate handset has to offer.

The Samsung SCH-U710 thanks to its novel design can be used as a normal handset or as a bonafied messaging device when in landscape direction. In Landscape Mode, the phone revels a full QWERTY keyboard in all its glory, which no doubt will be lapped by one and all. This CDMA handset is capable of supporting EV-DO data and has features like Bluetooth connectivity and A2DP support.

Those who like some fun on the side will be pleased to know that the handset also has a music player and a microSD card slot. There are dedicated control buttons for the music player and it is also capable of audio streaming to various headsets. The handset also is the first “non-LG” phone sporting flash themes for customization of the Verizon UI and will be available soon!
