Samsung Techwin announced grand plans to equip digital cameras with a mobile TV, when DMB - digital multimedia broadcasting - services are launched in 2006.

DMB, of course, enables you to receive quality TV on your mobile device or in-car receiver. But while most of today's devices have small screens, Samsung plans to put 3" screens on the digital cameras giving consumers a comfortable viewing area.

Samsung also plans to pump up the battery life, giving users up to 3 hours worth of TV on a full charge. You will also be able to play movies downloaded from your PC. At present, they have no plans to integrate telephony capabilities (which in a way is good). More details as they pour in during the next year.

Wow I can't wait to check these types of cameras out, they surely will give the digital camera industry a massive boost.
