Samsung T519 and T629 Phones For T-Mobile
Samsung once again has been bitten by the slim phone bug and now have two ultra thin mobile handsets in its kitty. It has been discovered via the FCC site (don’t you just love those guys?) that Samsung has the T629 and T519 handsets waiting in the wings which will be launched exclusively for the T-Mobile network. Since it has been approved by the FCC, it’s only a matter of time that the handsets will make its debut.
Both the handsets are quad-band GSM with EDGE data. They can safely be categorised in the mid to high level category of phones thanks to multimedia features like Bluetooth and a 2 mega pixel camera. The Samsung T629 sports a slim and elgenat slider deisgn and is based on the Samsung D840. So based on this, one can draw conclusions about the new T629. The phone apart from having EDGE capabilities will also have a music player. In all probability the phone will sport a Micro SD slot, in addition to the 70 MB of internal memory. No clue on other features but according to sources, this one does include TV-out capabilities.
The Samsung T519 takes inspiration from the Samsung X820 and this slim candybar phone is touted to be the US version of the Samsung X820. Which means like the X820, this one would also be just 7mm thick, will sport a Micro SD Card , have 80 MB of internal memory apart from Bluetooth and EDGE capabilities. No word on pricing or availability but we shall keep you updated.
