Samsung SPH-V7900 Cell Phone
Samsung unveiled the new SPH-V7900 mobile phone boasting an impressive 3GB hard drive, which follows last year's launch of the first mobile phone with a 1.5GB hard drive, the Samsung SPH-V5400. With 3GB, users can store as many as 700 songs or 2-3 full length movies. The SPH-V7900 is a CDMA2000 1xEVDO compatible mobile phone.
The SPH-V7900 comes with a 2 megapixel camera with flash that provides 2x optical zoom, a document viewer, and an MP3 player. It sports a 262k color QVGA TFT LCD (240x320 pixels) screen on the inside, while the outside dons a 65k (96x96 pixels) color screen. Connectivity featuers include USB 2.0 and IrDA (but, ugh, no Bluetooth - which spoils a bit of the fun).
The camera allows you to take photos (multi-shot option is available as well) and record videos. The phone comes with a host of applications including document viewer (Microsoft Office files, PDF, JPG and text), a Flash GUI and dictionary. The email app comes with a spam filter as well. Audio playback is supported for MP3/AAC/AAC+/MPEG4 formats, and the SPH-V7900 comes with dual stereo speakers.
Priced around US $700, more info about the Samsung SPH-V7900 is available from Samsung's website.
