10397_large.jpgThe Samsung SPH-M8100 is the latest entrant in the phone market, but this one ain't exactly a cell phone! The handset doesn't support CDMA or GSM and uses WiMAX in conjunction with IMS. Made for the Korean market, the SPH-M8100 takes VoIP to the next level and is capable of video conferencing, Push-to-All , and other high-speed data services. One also comes across a T-DMB receiver which isn't surprising since the Koreans love for DMB is famous!

The handset uses the Windows Mobile 5.0 as its OS and includes a number of multimedia features which are generally associated with GSM mobiles. This ultra-slim slider handset includes a 2MP camera and a VGA camera for video telephony, a 2.8-inch 65k color touch-screen display, TV-out, MMCmicro expansion among others. No word on pricing or availability.
