Samsung SL10D10 Portable DIRECTV Player Announced at CES
Look what the cat dragged in from Samsung's factories: the all-new Samsung SL10D10, a portable DIRECTV player with a largish 10.2" screen. Ideal for the kitchen or small room (even your office, as long as the boss doesn't see you), the SL10D10 was demonstrated at the recent 2006 CES in Las Vegas.
The device sports an innovative swivel design and backlit control panel, so it can conveniently be mounted under a cabinet with the included mouiting kit. With the FlipTop, it is a real space-saver. Add to this the 10W stereo audio and you can access the complete entertainment portfolio offered by the SL10D10.
With over 250 available channels, and 72 channels of XM satellite radio, you have a host of entertainment at your fingertips. The FlipTop offers 16:9 images. You can also plug in a headset to the provided audio jack.
A built-in AV input allows you to connect other devices as well. Priced at $499, the Samsung SL10D10 Portable DIRECTV Player will be available in March 2006. Head to Samsung's website for further details.
