Samsung unveiled the SGH-Z510, the world's slimmest 3G phone, at a sleek thickness (I should say thinness) of 14.9mm and weighing just 98 grams. Slim phones were the rage with Motorola's RAZR in 2005, and I'm sure this trend will continue. Believe me, I know the inconvenience of carrying a brick in my pocket all the time.

Features of the SGH-Z510 include a 1.3 megapixel camera (though Samsung could've upped it to 2 megapixel - gaining lead over competition) with 4x digital zoom, and a wide array of 3G features including video telephony, real-time video streaming and video messaging. A 2.2" QVGA 262k color TFT display is provided on the inside for your viewing pleasure, while the outside shows off a 1.3" 65k color screen.

Goodies include an audio player supporting MP3, AAC, AAC+ and WMA, USB connectivity as well as wireless with Bluetooth and a document viewer. Internal available memory is low at just 138MB, with no signs of external memory support.
