samsung_p200.jpgSamsung has just launched the Unlicensed Mobile Access (UMA) phone in the Italian market, SGH-P200. What I like about UMA phone is the ability to switch between cellular networks such as GSM, GPRS, EDGE and Wi-Fi wireless LAN. This means that at a certain area where there is no network coverage but only wireless hotspot, the phone will automatically switch to use the VoIP technology. The GSM/USM slider phone features a 1.9-inch TFT LCD with resolutions of 176 x 220, 1.3 megapixel camera with flash and 80MB of internal memory. It supports video with file formats of MPEG4 and H.263 as well as music player with MP3, AAC and ACC+ formats. It also has PictBridge software for direct printing on any WiFi-enable printer. Transferring files from your pc won't be a recondite problem via USB interface.
