Korean Samsung today announced its official launch of the Samsung SGH-i320 slim Windows Mobile Smartphone. The sleek and stylish Samsung i320 is a super-slim bar type handset, measuring just 11.5mm in depth and 95g in weight with an easy-to-use QWERTY keyboard. QWERTY keyboard has the same keyboard layout used in personal computers, enable user to send e-mail and text message more conveniently.

It operates in the GSM/GPRS (900/1800/1900MHz) networks using Windows Mobile 5.0 Smartphone operating system. The phone features a 2.2-inch TFT LCD screen with resolutions of 240 x 320, 1.3 megapixel camera with digital zoom capabilities, Bluetooth 2.0, USB connection, dual speaker phone, voice recognition and 120MB internal memory with microSD slot for extra storage. It records video with formats of MPEG4, H.263 and supported music file formats are MP3, AAC, AAC+, WMA, WAV and OGG.

The SGH-i320 will be launched across Europe this month. The following launches will take place throughout the rest of Europe and South East Asia shortly. A detailed country list wasn't given so far nor was a price announced yet.
