yHere's a Samsung FCC approved phone. The Samsung SGH-D840 got the nod from FCC paving its way into the USA.

Apparently it's a slider phone (here's a quickie poll: which do you like more, a flip phone, a slider or candybar?), succeeding the D820 (which, in the US, was the T809) with a modified keypad.

Other features include:

  • 2 megapixel camera

  • EDGE network support

  • Tri-band GSM operation
