Samsung SGH-D800 Cell PhoneSamsung announced the SGH-D800, a sleek GSM/GPRS phone in a slider design. Another slim phone, the SGH-D800 is just 14.9mm thick.

Supporting GSM/GPRS/EDGE (900/1800/1900 MHz) networks, the SGH-D800 sports a 2.12" 240x320 TFT LCD capable of 262k colors (well, nothing less than that would be acceptable now, will it?). It supports video messaging (on EDGE? I wonder how good the quality will be). An almost full-featured audio player is included, supporting MP3, AAC, AAC+, e-AAC+ and WMA formats. No OGG, though.

With just 80MB of memory, you may not have much use for the audio player. That's right, no support for external memory as well! However, it does feature Bluetooth (a definite plus point) and Pict Bridge compatibility.

Targeted for a European Q4 release, more info about the Samsung SGH-D800 cell phone is available from Samsung's website.
