Samsung unveiled its latest cell phone model, the Samsung SCH-c417. A flip phone, the SCH-c417 supports GSM quad-band, making it a world phone. Don't look for fancy features on this one - it's mostly a value phone, equipped with a basic VGA camera.
Bluetooth is available, so that's good. Weighing in at just about 80 grams, the Samsung SCH-c417 features a 2.0", 65k color display. For IM, the phone provides both Yahoo! and AOL messaging. As the phone supports Java (J2ME), you can download tons of applications out in the market.
The Samsung SCH-c417 is available in a charcoal grey metallic finish from Cingular. After discounts (when purchased online), you get the cell phone for US $29.99 with a 2 year service contract.
